Description: |
Economics 219 is about macroeconomic policy. The first part will study monetary and fiscal policy as a way to buffer the economy against shocks (like Covid-19 or the financial crisis of 2007-09). The second part will cover policy issues in international monetary economics and in economic growth. The course will make extensive use of calculus. Interested students should have taken Economics 207, Economics 209, and one semester of calculus. |
