Description: |
This course combines community engagement with the study of literature and critical/cultural theory in order to investigate, emergent micro-networks of food justice in Rochester. Students will examine food justice and ecological sustainability through engagement with art and literature, creativity, agri-culture, community-building networks. All students will complete training in cultural competence for successful community engagement. All class meetings will take place off-campus at Taproot farming locations unless otherwise noted. INSTRUCTOR PERMISSION REQUIRED. NOT OPEN TO SENIORS. |
