Description: Using several studies of male group psychology and about 16 to 20 films, this course studies a wide variety of men’s collective behavior in groups of various sizes. Films have portrayed men in groups repeatedly, yet without identifying their behavior as gendered. This course considers men’s behavior in groups of various sorts, aiming to identify how such groups help to construct men’s characteristic behaviors in society.
