Description: |
Continuation of ITAL 101. The objective of the course is to provide beginners with a thorough grounding in all language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Emphasis is placed on both grammar and cultural information. Classes meet five times a week and combine language theory and practice. Each class is fifty minutes long. Students must sign up for both a MWF and a TR block. As far as Italian is concerned, the terms 'lecture' and 'recitation' conventionally used to identify the blocks have a purely bureaucratic significance and do not reflect in any way the pedagogical approach of the course. |
